Asheville Merchant Advocates was created out of a need to offer merchants an alternative to big bank processors who do not create value or share an interest in their merchant’s success.
We are an Independent Sales Organization and have spent over a decade cultivating reliable and trustworthy relationships in the Payment Card Industry, allowing us to tailor products and services to the needs of each merchant.
Our “Merchant First” philosophy provides the framework for all our decision making when customizing the best payment solution for our clients. We can, in fact, save merchants money where others cannot, offer value added products to help growth, and obtain processing for merchants who would otherwise be turned down.
Call us and see what a difference having the right advocate can make!
AMA is committed to not only reducing the cost and fees to local merchants, but also to supporting our local community. We have hand selected five Local Non-Profits (LNPs) that we believe are truly making a difference in Western North Carolina and look forward to assisting them with One Time and Monthly Donations.
Each new merchant will have the opportunity to select one of our LNPs and AMA will donate $100 in honor of a person or business selected by the new merchant.
Additionally, each month we will spotlight one of our LNPs and donate 5% of our total commissions to their cause. Our hope is to support those in our community who support us!
Following our passion for the Arts, Sustainable Living, and the Great Outdoors my wife, Bronwyn, and I relocated to Asheville in 2007 as newlyweds. Surrounded by a community of growth minded individuals, with a zeal for the entrepreneurial spirit, has given us the environment to flourish on both a personal and professional level.
Our two energetic and loquacious children keep us hustling. My daughter and I share a taekwondo practice at Asheville Sun Soo, from which I received my 1st Degree Black Belt and where I am an assistant instructor. My son and I can often be found as superheroes, singing & dancing, or playing with our transformers!
When given the chance you can find me exploring the waterfalls of WNC with my family, wrangling our chickens, studying Messianic/Hebraic Theology, and reliving my college days on the indoor volleyball courts of Xcel Sportsplex.
